Born in Amsterdam, Josephine Sloet (1945), studies arts at the Vrije Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten in The Hague and the Rijksacademie voor Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. Her artworks contain a certain mysterious quality which makes it difficult to turn away from them. With nature as her point of departure she succeeds in surprising and amazing the viewer again and again. Josephine is a renowned artist who has exhibited (solo) in museums and galleries not only in the Netherlands but also in Germany and the United States.
